Which SIM does the Tador C90 take?

A standard size SIM (2FF), voice-capable, PIN lock off. The C90 is a combined GSM gate opener and intercom: dial-to-open for up to 70 stored numbers, keypad codes, and 150 prox tags — so the SIM handles both the free-call open trick and the intercom calling.

Which network?

The C90 is 2G hardware, so it wants a network still broadcasting 2G at the gate. As those retreat, a multi-network SIM is the practical answer — strongest surviving network, automatically, with re-registration if the picture changes.

Minimal credit needed for dial-to-open (calls are rejected, not answered), but intercom calls do bill — set a spend cap.

Fitting the SIM

For the installing engineer, power off:

1. Open the unit; fit the standard SIM in the board holder.
2. Antenna connected before power, mounted clear of the gate's metalwork.
3. Wire the relay to the operator trigger; confirm pulse/latch mode.

First power-up

Let it register, then program per the manual: admin code, dial-to-open whitelist in international format, keypad codes, prox tags. Test all three access routes before handover.

If it won't connect

• No registration: 2G at the gate? Old phone test at the panel.
• Dial-to-open ignores callers: whitelist number format — international, always.
• Intercom calls fail but dial-to-open works: credit or call programming, not signal.
