Which SIM does the Priory Access 4G+ intercom take?

A nano SIM (4FF), voice-capable. What makes this panel worth a note is the chipset: it's built on a current LTE release with VoLTE, meaning calls travel natively over 4G rather than dropping back to 2G/3G to connect. That makes it one of the few gate intercoms genuinely indifferent to the older network switch-offs.

Which network?

All UK and EU networks work — VoLTE support means it isn't gambling on legacy fallback. So the question is purely signal strength at the gate. A multi-network SIM finishes the job: strongest carrier, automatically, for the life of the install.

Fitting the SIM

For the installing engineer, power down:

1. Open the unit; fit the nano SIM in the holder on the board.
2. Antenna connected before power-up.
3. Mount the antenna for height and clear air — modern chipset or not, physics still applies.

First power-up

Allow registration, program call numbers and keypad codes per the manual, then test both routes: call-and-release from the phone, and dial-to-open if the site uses it.

If it won't connect

• No registration: SIM active and PIN-free; test it in a phone at the gate.
• Calls connect but audio is poor: signal margin — antenna before anything else.
• Dial-to-open not triggering: confirm the caller's number is whitelisted in full international format.
