Which SIM does the G202 take?

A nano SIM (4FF), voice-capable, PIN lock removed. The G202 is a single-relay 4G remote switch — the modern equivalent of the old RTU5024 — and it works the same way: whitelisted numbers call it, it rejects the call unanswered, the relay pulses, the gate opens. Minimal credit needed, but keep the SIM active per your network's inactivity rules.

Which network?

Any UK network with 4G at the unit. Being 4G is the G202's reason to exist — it does the RTU's job on a network that isn't being switched off. Pair it with a multi-network SIM and the relay stays reachable on the strongest carrier without anyone thinking about it again.

Fitting the SIM

For the installing engineer, power off:

1. Fit the nano SIM in the board holder.
2. Antenna connected, and routed outside any metal enclosure the unit lives in.
3. Wire the relay to the operator's trigger input; set pulse or latch to match.

First power-up

Let it register, then configure by SMS: set the admin password, add whitelist numbers in full international format. Test with a call from a whitelisted phone — ring-off, relay click, gate moves.

If it won't open

• Rings, no relay: number format on the whitelist. International format fixes it.
• No connection: off network — signal, SIM status, antenna placement.
• Relay clicks, nothing moves: operator wiring or pulse/latch mismatch.
