Connecto IP EVO / 4G Video Panel SIM installation guide

Which SIM does the Farfisa Connecto 4G panel take?

A nano SIM (4FF) — fitted in the panel's 4G module (on some configurations the connectivity comes from a paired 4G router instead, in which case the SIM lives in the router). Either way it's a data connection doing the work on the video versions: check which architecture your kit uses before ordering.

Which network and allowance?

Strongest 4G data at the entrance. Farfisa panels in 316L stainless tend to go on quality installs where a flaky picture won't be tolerated — speed-test at the panel, and order the data SIM on whichever of Vodafone, O2 and EE performs best there so the connection holds without revisits.

Fitting the SIM

For the installing engineer, power down:

1. Locate where the SIM sits on your configuration — panel module or companion router.
2. Fit the nano SIM, connect the antenna before power.
3. Set the APN for your SIM provider; configure users and PINs per the manual's remote-management process.

First test

Visitor call through to the phone with video where fitted, PIN entry at the panel, release firing. Verify remote user management works before handover — it's the feature the client is paying for.

If it won't connect

• No data: APN against provider values.
• Router-based kits: confirm the router's WAN shows a mobile connection before blaming the panel.
• Video poor: bandwidth — antenna, then carrier.
